Mobile home rents bill gets warm reception after Cedarhurst's skyrocketed
Delegate Sheree Sample-Hughes filed a bill last month that would require owners of mobile home parks to give residents at least a 60 notice prior to increasing their rent. The bill would additionally require owners to specify by what percent the rent increase will be. The bill was proposed as a way of tightening up Maryland's lax landlord laws and was greeted with no opposition. Click the link for the full story.
