Conflict is typically the result of a miscommunication.  In the workplace, conflict is inevitable as you have multiple personalities working together toward a common goal.   Conflict can evoke different emotions in individuals when the focus is on the conflict rather than the resolution.

 

How we handle difficult situations at work determines the outcome.  Conflict is not always a bad thing. In fact, when handled appropriately conflict can often be the culprit for positive change.   Conflict offers an opportunity for self-reflection, making us better team-mates and more productive team members.

About The Instructor

With over two decades of experience managing commercial, retail, and multi-family residential properties, Kubie Edelen-Davis oversees the daily operations of over five thousand multi-family housing units in the D.C. Metro, and Baltimore markets. Her primary focus is on marketing, human resource management, financial management, revenue growth and capital improvements.

As the Regional Director of Property Management for Quest Management Group, LLC., she brings a passion for providing exceptional service to residents while achieving the company's business objectives. Under her leadership, the portfolio has seen consistent growth in both revenue and resident satisfaction.

She received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, San Bernardino and in her free time, she enjoys writing and singing professionally.
