Meet Your Instructor:

Chuck White
,
Electrical Contractor | Estimator | Business Development

Chuck brings over 40 years of hands-on electrical industry experience to every project. He began his career in 1985 as a green helper in new residential construction, working his way up through hands-on training in both new construction and service work for single-family homes.

He later transitioned into commercial work, taking on projects in apartment buildings and tenant fit-outs before joining Hawkins Electric in 2007 as a commercial service electrician. In 2008, he moved into an estimator/salesperson role with Hawkins Electric — a position he has held for the past 18 years.

Over nearly two decades in that role, Chuck has built deep, lasting relationships throughout the multifamily industry, connecting with property managers, general contractors, and service technicians across the DMV market. He's also given back to the trade directly, teaching basic electrical classes for apartment service technicians — many of whom he now knows personally from job sites and the classroom alike.
