MMHA announces the creation of a Hall of Fame
MMHA Launches Inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 2026

The Maryland Multi-Housing Association Board of Directors has announced the inaugural class of the MMHA Hall of Fame, a permanent honor created to recognize the leaders, advocates, mentors, and partners whose contributions have helped shape both the association and Maryland’s multi-family housing industry.
Established to ensure that MMHA’s most influential builders and champions are never forgotten, the Hall of Fame will celebrate a new class each year beginning in 2026. The inaugural honorees represent decades of service, leadership, and commitment to the association’s mission and the broader housing community.
This year’s class includes Miki Wilson, Leonard Frenkil Jr., Debbie Roebuck, Kathy Kelly Howard, Steve Weidner, Adam Skolnik, and Wink Mather.
Miki Wilson of Home Properties was recognized posthumously for her transformative leadership on the MMHA Board, where she served from 2008 to 2015 and as MMHA President from 2009 to 2010. Known for her passion for legislative reform, professional education, and community-building, Wilson inspired others to step forward and grow as leaders. Her honor was accepted by former MMHA Board Presidents Keisha Warrick and Erika Orlaskey.
Leonard Frenkil Jr. of WPM Management was celebrated for nearly a quarter-century of service to MMHA, including his time on the Board from 1998 to 2020 and his term as President from 2001 to 2002. Widely described as a true leader, Frenkil was recognized for shaping the association’s strategic direction, legislative priorities, and mentoring culture.
Debbie Roebuck, who retired after 37 years with Dolben, was honored for her deep involvement across MMHA committees and leadership roles. She spent nearly two decades on the Board of Directors and served as President from 2016 to 2017. Throughout her career, Roebuck was known for raising the bar on education, events, and overall association excellence.
Kathy Kelly Howard of Regional Management was recognized for more than 30 years of legislative leadership. Since MMHA’s founding in 1996, she has served as a Board member and Legislative Committee Co-Chair, helping represent members in Annapolis and translate complex policy issues into practical guidance for the industry.
Steve Weidner of Carpet Consultants was honored for his long-standing financial leadership and steady commitment to the association. As a founding Associate Member and the longest-serving Treasurer in MMHA history, Weidner provided decades of guidance and continuity that helped support the organization’s long-term success.
Adam Skolnik was inducted for his extraordinary impact on MMHA in multiple leadership roles. He served on the Board and Legislative Committee from 1997 to 2008, was President in 2003, and later became Executive Director in 2009. Under his leadership, MMHA grew significantly and launched major initiatives including the Service Training Academy and Leasing Training Academy.
Wink Mather, Owner and President of Acadia Windows & Doors, rounded out the inaugural class as a standout example of associate membership leadership. A longtime supporter of MMHA, Mather has been a consistent sponsor, volunteer, and advocate for the industry. He also helped bring the Service Training Academy to life by serving as its first sponsor when it was still only a vision.
With the launch of the Hall of Fame, MMHA is creating a lasting tribute to the people whose dedication has shaped the association’s past and continues to influence its future. The inaugural class stands as a reflection of the commitment, leadership, and community spirit that have defined MMHA for decades.
