Double Win for MMHA at NAA’s 2025 Excellence Awards!

MMHA is proud to announce not one, but TWO major wins at the National Apartment Association’s 2025 Excellence Awards! Our very own Service Training Academy (STA 2.0) took home the prestigious Anthony Pusateri Career Promotion Award, and Candice Manning, MMHA’s Director of Workforce Development, Education & Digital Strategy, was named ACE Educator of the Year.

This national recognition underscores MMHA’s unwavering commitment to education, workforce development, and the future of multifamily housing.

Since its launch in 2017, the Service Training Academy—also known as STA 2.0—has been changing lives. With nearly 200 students placed into maintenance and facilities roles across the property management industry, STA continues to be a shining example of what’s possible when you invest in people and potential. The Pusateri Award celebrates programs that actively promote careers in residential property management, and MMHA’s STA 2.0 stands proudly at the forefront of that mission.

To make this incredible moment even more meaningful, Candice Manning was recognized individually for her unmatched dedication to education and innovation in the multifamily space. Known for her energy, creativity, and unwavering belief in the power of people, Candice’s recognition as Educator of the Year is a testament to her leadership and impact—not just in Maryland, but nationwide.

These wins are not just about awards—they’re about impact. They’re about the students who found careers, the properties that found talent, and the future that MMHA is helping build every day.
