MMHA Honored with Employ Prince George’s Top Job Placement Performance Award
The Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) is proud to have been recognized by Employ Prince George’s (EPG) with the Top Job Placement Performance Award, celebrating MMHA’s success in helping workforce development participants move from training into meaningful employment.
The award recognizes the impact of the partnership between MMHA and Employ Prince George’s and the success of the Leasing Training Academy (LTA) in creating pathways into the residential property management industry.
Through this partnership, Prince George’s County residents have had the opportunity to participate in industry-focused training designed to prepare them for careers as Leasing Professionals. The Leasing Training Academy combines classroom instruction, hands-on learning, professional development, exposure to industry employers, and job placement support to help participants successfully transition from training into employment.
More than simply preparing participants for their first job, LTA introduces students to the many career opportunities available within the multifamily housing industry and equips them with the knowledge, confidence, and professional skills needed to begin building long-term careers.
The program’s success would not be possible without the continued collaboration of Employ Prince George’s, MMHA member companies, industry professionals, instructors, hiring partners, and the employers who provide opportunities to LTA graduates.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from Employ Prince George’s,” said Caj Jennifer, Senior Learning & Development Specialist at MMHA. “Job placement is one of the most important measures of our success. Our goal is not simply to train participants—it is to help them turn that training into an opportunity. Seeing our graduates begin careers in the multifamily housing industry is what makes this work so meaningful.”
MMHA is grateful to Employ Prince George’s for recognizing the association’s commitment to workforce development and for its continued partnership in connecting Prince George’s County residents with meaningful career opportunities.
This award represents more than job placement numbers. It represents individuals beginning new careers, employers gaining talented professionals, and a partnership committed to strengthening both the multifamily industry and the communities it serves.
Thank you to Employ Prince George’s for this recognition and for your continued partnership. We look forward to creating even more pathways to opportunity together.
